The pre-requisites to enroll in this program are:

• Experience playing with small groups
• Some knowledge of music theory and Jazz improvisation

The Composers ensemble is a special program for advanced high-school students.

The program includes:

• Learning music composition, song form, melody line, harmony & arrangement for different instruments.
• Writing/arranging songs in various styles such as Rock, Jazz, Contemporary music
• Working with a computer notation software and producing professional written charts for all instruments
• Performing songs written by ensemble members in front of a live audience
• Recording in a professional studio and producing a CD
